Mechanical vibration teaching experimental system is established in many colleges and universities in China,but the vibration experiments of the rotor test platform and the vibration test platform are usually carried out separately and the vibration of the rotating machinery and the structural frame are both important research areas in the field of mechanical vibration.In addition,the shortage of teaching resources in universities,limited experimental funds and high maintenance cost of experimental hardware have brought great challenges to the experimental teaching in colleges and universities.In this paper,the mechanical vibration teaching experimental system which is developed for the problems existing in mechanical vibration teaching experiments can simultaneously study the vibration phenomena of the rotor test platform and the vibration test platform.The system can also replace or partially replace traditional physical instruments,which can save teaching resources in colleges and universities effectively.This paper first analyzes the existing problems of the existing vibration experimental system,analyzes the design requirements of the system,determines the overall architecture of the system,and designs the functions of the hardware and software platforms in detail.Then the hardware platform of the system is designed,and the structure of the rotor test platform,the vibration test platform and their key components is designed,and the types of hardware such as the sensor and pulse hammer are selected.Finally,the software platform of the system is designed.The software platform of the system is divided into virtual instrument experiment system and virtual simulation experiment system.The virtual instrument experiment system based on LabVIEW is developed by the outstanding advantages of virtual instrument,such as good human-computer interaction,high performance price ratio and good portability.The system adopts modular design and is divided into three levels: registration / login interface,experimental selection interface and typical vibration experiments,which can facilitate the follow-up maintenance and improvement of the experimental system.In addition,the experimental system makes remote communication come true.It can send the experimental data and the front panel to the remote and mobile terminals,and support multiple clients at the same time.Thus it is very suitable for the experimental teaching of large classes in colleges and universities and provides a new method for improving the efficiency of the experimental teaching.Virtual simulation experimental system based on VRML technology is designed by importing models from SolidWorks and communicating with LabVIEW.Users can build up experimental platform,collect experimental data and analyze experimental results in the virtual reality space.It effectively alleviates the shortage of the experimental teaching funds and the tension of experimental resources and has broad application prospects.Finally,the effect of the virtual simulation experimental system is proved effective by the rotor experiments and the simple-supported beam experiments.
