Study On Space Design Of Community Day Care Center Based On Environmental Behavior

The rapid development of the aging population has made it difficult for China to cope with the huge number of elderly people's old-age pension problems under the condition of "not getting rich before getting old".Community old-age care is in the form of professional institutional care and family care.It provides basic living support and old-age services for elderly people living alone,living in empty nests,and semi-disabled people in the community,which has eased the pressure on state-owned old-age care institutions and families to support their elderly.It provides a better choice to solve the problem of old-age pension for the elderly.Community day care centers serve as a carrier for the elderly in the community.They provide services such as living services,medical care,spiritual comfort,and leisure and entertainment services for the elderly in the community.However,for the time being,There are many problems in the theory and design of community day care centers in our country,which is due to the lack of relevant theories and design practices.Based on the theory of environmental behavior,this paper makes a series of theoretical analysis on the problems existing in community day care centers and how to design space by applying the theories and methods of ergonomics,design psychology,etc..The relationship between the theory of environmental behavior and spatial design is analyzed,and the contents of the spatial function layout,dynamic line design,and spatial environment atmosphere of the community care centers are the basic points,combining environmental behavior theory and the design concept of "aging appropriate".The study of the behavior patterns and spatial use of the elderly in the community day-care centres was carried out through field visits,and the behavioral characteristics and psychological needs of the elderly were analyzed to make the community day-care centres more suitable for aging.At the same time,it analyzes the outstanding cases at home and abroad,summarizes the design points and strategies of the community day care center,and finally combines the actual case of the community day care center in Maotang Road,Qixing District,Guilin City to carry out the reconstruction design.
