The Study Of Outdoor Landscape Environment Design Of Child Welfare Center In North China Region

With the development of society,people are paying more and more attention to social services and children's welfare institutes are receiving the attention of people from all walks of life as important parts of welfare institutes in China.As children's welfare institutes are the places for children to live and learn,and the outdoor landscapes environment of children's welfare institutes are the space for children's amusement,recreation,activities,contact with nature,understanding of the society,and learning of cooperation and sharing,as well as the warm homes to children living in welfare institutes,the construction of the outdoor landscapes environment for children's welfare institutes are of great importance.According to the current situation of the outdoor landscapes of children's welfare institutes in North China,it can be found that the outdoor landscape environment design of many welfare institutes doesn't achieve the desired effect and cannot give full play to its function.There are many shortcomings,e.g.a lack of humanization in the road design,a lack of diversification in the amusement facilities,inadequate space for activities,a lack of waterscape design and relatively homogeneous vegetative landscapes.The outdoor landscapes cannot meet the needs of the children for external environments in children's welfare institutes and nor can they help develop optimistic and positive mentality of the kids.Based on the present situation,the author selects the outdoor landscape environment design of children's welfare institutes as the research subject.Guided by relevant theories of the physiological,psychological,and behavioral characteristics of different types of children(normal children,children with physiological defects and children with psychological defects)in welfare institutes and on the basis of researches on the theories of outdoor landscape environment design,the dissertation takes the outdoor landscapes of children's welfare institutes in North China as the objects of research and adopts the methods of literature reference,field investigation,analysis and summary,etc.in the analysis of the influence of the outdoor landscape of children's welfare institutes on children and the current problems,and it also elaborates on the entrance space,boundary space,traffic space,plant landscape space,recreation space and landscape sketch,etc.with the characteristics of the plane layout of children's welfareinstitutes taken into account and puts forward the design strategies of outdoor landscapes that meet the needs of various kinds of children in welfare institutes.At last,a outdoor landscapes environment for children's welfare institutes in Hebei is designed.The reasons for the lack of the outdoor landscapes of children's welfare institutes in North China are various,such as Insufficient funds,and the designer lacks awareness of the outdoor landscapes of children's welfare institutes.The focus of this study is to find out the design strategies of outdoor landscapes of children's welfare institutes in North China as well as landscape elements,and,in combination with the physiological and psychological needs of different types of children in welfare institutes,employ rational of vegetations,colors,materials,and so on,sum up the design strategies in entrance space,boundary space,traffic space,plant landscape space,recreation space as well as landscape sketches,and work out the theoretical and design strategies to be followed in the outdoor landscapes of children's welfare institutes in North China,which will be applied to the design of a outdoor landscapes environment for children's welfare institutes in Hebei.It is hoped that this dissertation is able to make up for the blank of relevant special researches and provide future researches and applications with some references and further improve the theoretical systems of the outdoor landscape environment design of children's welfare institutes.
