As a process of regional co-ordinating,urban integration is mostly characterized by the fact that neighboring cities break the traditional spatial separation and administrative obstacles and promote factors including political, economic, and social integration among cities in further. In the process of urban integration, government needs to strengthen the cooperation at the system coordination,so as to fully grasp the opportunity provided by the urban integration for the development of cities, and to overcome various contradictions in the process of urban integration. Therefore we need a deep analysis of the cross-border(city boundary)behavior of urban residents in the process of urban integration in order to provide more effective policy recommendations for coordination among governments.Among the residents cross-border behaviors,cross-border consumers have the most profound impact on the development of the urban and regional economy.Through the analysis of Weibo data,it has been found that cross-border consumer groups are mainly concentrated in the central business district of Hong Kong and the new town area near the port, and shows a point-type high degree of agglomeration;Among the cross-border consumers, most of them are purely shopping, they have the characteristics of “high frequency, short time, and fast pace” in the time dimension; On the other hand, under the influence of urban integration,Shenzhen(former SEZ)and has a close contact with Hong Kong's New Territories and the Kowloon, the transfer of consumption function activities between two cities is realized in a certain way. However, the Shenzhen suburbs(outside former SEZ)and Hong Kong Island are weakly related to each other in the process of Shenzhen-Hong Kong integration subject to spatial distance constraints; Finally, through the analysis of the time-spatial characteristics of cross-border consumer groups,it was found that the establishment of the Shenzhen-Hong Kong border port has a certain barrier to cross-border travel, and port traffic's uniformity and poor accessibility severely limit the choice of destinations for cross-border consumer groups and the range of activity space, which hinders the development of integration. This paper can further provide policy recommendations for the development of Shenzhen-Hong Kong integration or related regional studies;at the same time, for cities like Shenzhen-Hong Kong,Zhuhai-Macao,and other border areas in China, there is certain guidance and reference for the development of spatial strategies for cross-border consumer behavior and related issues.
