Parking Facility Planning Of Youyi Town Of Shuangyashan City

Youyi county locates at north of Heilongjiang province,and it is managed by Shuangyashan city.Youyi town is the place at which Youyi county government locates.In Youyi town,with the development of social economy and increase of vehicle population,the problem of unbalance between parking supply and demand will become more evident.It lacks public parking lot in Youyi city,so vehicles park at roadside,occupy road resource and decrease road capacity.The origin reason for tha is that Youyi town can not grasp parking dmand and lacks sysmatic parking facility planning.Firstly,population scale,ecnomy development,land use and vehicle population of Youyi town were investigated and analyzed.Population and construction of planning year were predicted.Current situation of parking facility of Youyi town was investigated and analyzed.Parking plot distribution,used charateristics and main problem were analyzed.Parking management and toll,parking guide system and resource sharing were investigated and main problems were given so as to provide detaied base data and materials for parking planning of Youyi town.Secondly,based on analysis on determining principals,parking development strategy of Youyi town was put forward frome two aspects of supply and demand.Experience contrating method and parking characteristic method were used to forecast total parking demad of future.According to the ratio between the sum of residential area and office area of each traffic zone,parking demad for building of future of each traffic zone was given.According to vehicle travel attration volume of each traffic zone,public parking demand of each traffic zone was calculated based on land use and travel aim.Thirdly,considered parking demand and relavent standard,parking index for building of Youyi town was presented.According to analysis of parking supply and demand,off-road public parking facility scale was calculated and layout planning schem was given.Short-range construction planning was also presented for off-road public parking facility.Finally,road segment capacity calculation and LOS evaluation methods were presented considered the interruption of roadside parking.According to analysis of current situation and V/C of road,roadside parking facility planning scheme of Youyi town was put forward.Then the evaluations of supply-demand relation and effects on LOS were conducted.
