Test Unit Adapter(TUA)is a dedicated component for signal processinging and resource distribution in the Automatic Test Engine.It is generally one-to-one correspond to the Unit Under Test.This architecture is of great significance for sharing Automatic Test Equipment's instrument resources and reducing the overall system test cost.However,with the increase of the type of Unit Under Test,the number of TUA will increase drastically,which will expand the size of Automatic Test System and make it inconvenient to use.In addition,the combination of Automatic Test Equipment and TUA often use a common software architecture.The capability for real-time signal interaction is weak and timing errors often result in test failure.To solve the timing problem,dedicated instruments are often configured inside the TUA.With the performance and functional density of instrument resources increase dramatically and become cheaper,embedding some instrument resources into the TUA will enable TUA adapt to a wider range of signals and have a stronger ability to softdefine resource distribution.At the same time,it achieves the goal of handling special timings,processing various types of signal,and effectively distributing resources,greatly improving the versatility of the TUA and further compressing the Automatic Test Equipment system.Embedding the test computer inside the TUA can further improve the TUA's autonomy ability,which enable the TUA to perform simple test task on the Unit Under Test without Automatic Test Equipment.It achieve rapid detection of the Unit Under Test using a miniaturized device,and enable it have information ability.An informationized TUA with a certain degree of autonomous test capability has been developed,and a TUA design scheme integrating universal test resources with wide range signal processing ability and configurable measurement terminals,embedded test computer,Aeroelastic interface special test module and VPC interfaces has been draw up,which has solved the problem of TUA generalization,special timing test and miniaturization issues.A two-way GJB1188 A module for TUA integration has been developed.This module can simultaneously control two dedicated Unit Under Test interfaces and complete corresponding test work.According to the information requirements of TUA,based on the core testing ability of TUA,a series of object models have been abstracted.Based on these object models,the digital space functional components for TUA have been developed.This component can be directly used in the Joint Test Platform(H-JTP)for remote manipulation and remote information exchange.Finally,using the laboratory existing resource to test the function of Aeroelastic interface special test module,and the function of the TUA components has been tested.The experimental results show that the performance of the module meets the expected technical specifications.The TUA components can make the TUA access to the entire Joint Test Platform to achieve the TUA information.
