In recent years,China has vigorously developed higher vocational education and the construction scale of higher vocational schools has continuously expanded. However, our country has not formed an independent standard for the construction of higher vocational schools for a long period of time.Higher vocational schools refer to the construction standards and norms of similar schools at the stage of project approval and planning and design, which have greater limitations and stages. The Ministry of Education promulgated the "Regional Indicators for Architectural Planning of Higher Education Institutions" issued in 1992 for 26 years. In view of this,China urgently needs a comprehensive adaptive reference standard for the construction of practical training rooms in higher vocational and technical schools to promote our country.Higher vocational education develops more rationally and healthily. On May 15,2011,the Ministry of Education held a special work conference on the planning and construction of vocational schools and preparation of construction standards in Dalian. In order to implement the Outline of the National Medium and Long-Term Education Reform and Development Plan, the Ministry of Education included the preparation of the “Standard for the Construction of Higher Vocational Schools”.Standard preparation plan. The editor-in-chief was the National Research Center for School Construction Standards, and the Jiangsu Provincial Institute of Educational Architectural Design participated in the preparation of the standard. In September 2015,the "Higher Vocational and Technical College Construction Standards" formed a draft for review, but the preparation work is still in the stage of improvement and demonstration. The paper takes the quota of building average per student room for practical training in higher vocational and technical schools as the research object, and summarizes the main factors affecting the per capita living space of vocational training rooms through literature review, field research, inductive comparison, and simulation calculation..Through the analysis of the status quo of surveys, the threeperspectives of professional category, school size, and regional differences are taken into account to analyze the spatial characteristics, spatial composition, and average construction area of the training room. Finally, combining the statistical data of the survey data, the existing norms can be adjusted and optimized, and the mathematical model can be used to calculate the reasonable range of the average building area quota for practical training rooms, providing reference and basis for the compilation of the construction standards for higher vocational schools in China.Provide reference and reference for the preparation of the Higher Vocational and Technical College Construction Standards.
