A Study Into The Folk Houses In Xianniangxi Village,Conghua

Xianniangxi village belongs to Changliu village,Liangkou Town,Conghua District,Guangzhou.Located in the transitional area between Guangfu and Hakka,the folk houses in the village are enclosed by adobe brick walls.In recent years,villagers have demolished their traditional houses,adjusted the original land boundary and built new buildings.In the process of the building metabolism,people migrate from traditional folk houses to modern buildings.The spatial relationship,space ownership,and people's life patterns have changed greatly.This article mainly records and analyzes the traditional and the contemporary residence in Xianniangxi Village,and explains the microcosmic relationship of the village architecture,the village family system and the national land system.The following three questions are focused in the following chapters: how do the traditional dwellings of the village of Xianniangxi,as the residence between the Hakkas and the Guangfu district,show the characteristics of the Guangfu and Hakka houses? How is the contemporary architecture developed on the basis of the traditional space structure,as the traditional folk houses are reducing? Construction activities in these years are frequent.How does the family and architectural space influece each other through land use?This article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter defines the research object of this article,and reviews the academic research on the traditional residence,the Contemporary Peasant self building,the rural social system,the family system and the land system,and puts forward the research problems and the research path of this paper.The second chapter combed the development history and regional environment of the village of Xianniangxi Village,and analyzed the settlement pattern of the village of Xianniangxi at different levels,and outlined the overall image of the village.The third chapter analyses the form,material,structure and construction mode of the village traditional residence and the building of the contemporary rural building,which shows the rich architectural phenomenon in the village.The forth chapter,combining the subjective cognition of the villagers,collated the national land system and the family system in the village,and explained the operation mode of the village housing distribution,the building of the house and the expansion of the house.Finally,based on the above contents,we summarize the evolution of the residential and village space in the village.
