The finite element analysis software ABAQUS provides abundant materials,constitutive models and powerful analyzing ability,which is a commonly used software in civil engineering.Due to its universal property,it does not provide the tools needed for architectural design.In the case of structural modeling,if there is no appropriate structure templates and tools that are provided,the use of ABAQUS for structural modeling will consume a large amount of time and the ABAQUS itself does not provide structural analysis and special module for design,which is not convenient for use.This paper has carried out secondary development of ABAQUS for the commonly used framework structure by using Python language and has designed framework structure design platform based on ABAQUS.Its functions include parameter modeling,internal force extraction,internal force combination and cross section reinforcement,which has realized one key modeling and automatic reinforcement design of the framework structure.The main works in this paper are as follows.(1)The concrete structure design standard is introduced into the program of the ABAQUS framework design platform,which can provide the automatic generation of the framework structure model.The model section and setup of material attribute parameters can guarantee the correctness of parameter modeling.(2)The kernel code for each module is compiled through the exploration of the structure design theory and ABAQUS secondary development theory,the organic integration between ABAQUS development process and the structural design analysis process.The RSG dialog box constructor is used to develop and connect theABAQUS interface.The framework structure design platform is gradually established through continuous optimization and testing and the reinforcement design function of the concrete framework structure is provided.(3)A complete engineering example can test and verify each module of the program software developed.Compared with the result of manual modeling,it can be found that the framework design platform developed in this paper can quickly and effectively establish the model and carry out the corresponding structural analysis and design,and get more ideal results.
