With the rapid development of subway construction in China,the subway lines are also increasing rapidly.At the same time,the construction intensity of depot for storing and repairing subway trains is also gradually strengthening.The construction scale is often more than ten hectares.In order to make full use of this space,it is an effective way to develop the cover building with metro depot.For the high density superposition of the cover building in the subway,how to deal with the interaction and infiltration of its surrounding multiple environmental factors and contribute to the improvement of the urban environment is the focus of this paper.Starting from the perspective of urban design,this paper takes the upper cover area and its surrounding environment of four completed subway metro depot in different periods in Beijing as the research object.Through literature review,field investigation and summary,the research and development trend of the cover building is obtained.The complexity of the surrounding environment and the integration of the cover building and the surrounding environment.The problems of single city function,disorder of space combination,chaos of traffic organization,and the improvement of landscape environment have been combed for the guidance of the lack of integrated design concept.This paper puts forward that the main elements of cover building and its surrounding environment must be integrated and designed with function,space,traffic and landscape as the main elements.The integrated design of four aspects also includes city function positioning and combination,metor depot and surrounding space layout,traffic flow line and traffic form,greening landscape system and landscape environment facilities.In the end,the construction scheme of the upper cover of the Xingshanzi metor depot of Xuzhou is taken as an empirical study.And the advantages and disadvantages of the scheme are analyzed,and an optimization strategy based on the integrated design theory is proposed.
