With the change of time,China's large-scale construction of houses in the 1980 s and1990s has fallen behind the times,increasingly unable to meet the basic needs of people today.As the drawbacks of the reconstruction methods pushed into reconstruction are gradually known,the way of urban renewal in China is shifted from reconstruction to reconstruction and transformation to reconstruction and reconstruction.People's eyes gradually shift to the transformation of old communities.This batch of old houses has unique values and is a unique memory of urban life in China.Dismantling them is a major loss in the historical context of our city.Renovating this batch of residences will continue to be an excellent choice.China has already produced a number of old house renovation practices,but the reconstruction is not as good as it would be.It has the disadvantages of serious construction pollution,large construction intensity,long construction period,and difficult quality control.It will make a great impact on the surrounding environment and the residents' lives.In this context,this article proposes "light renovation."This article focuses on the following point.1.On the basis of a detailed study of the background and the problems encountered in the transformation of old residential buildings,the meaning of light transformation is proposed.There are two connotations of light transformation.First,light transformation is a micro transformation.It refers to the partial addition,construction,dismantlement,function replacement,and improvement of infrastructure,etc.,while maintaining the current status and structure of the building.Methods to protect and activate the transformation of old residential areas.The second is to ensure high-quality transformation while minimizing the impact of transformation on people and the environment.2.Conduct a specific discussion on the design strategies for light-renovation of old residential areas,put forward three design strategies for the transformation of old residential areas,and use domestic and foreign cases to support them.Based on the current survey of Xinquanyuan Community and interviews with residents,using the conclusions drawn fromthe above study,we will take the reconstruction of Xinquanyuan Residential Area as an example and make specific design studies.On the light renovation strategy of Xinquanyuan Community,the above research is supported by actual cases.3.proposed a light transformation based on the thinking of the industrialization of the building,using the thinking and technology of the building industrialization to the light transformation of the construction,and combined with the green construction to support the realization of the light transformation.
