Design Research Of Residential Units In High-rise Nursing Homes

In the context of the severe aging trend in China,the aging problem of Shenzhen,a young city,cannot be ignored.As the three decades of reform and opening-up,the urban land area brought about by the development of Shenzhen city is tense,and the nursing homes are adapted to the development of the city and to relieve the contradiction between huge old-age demand and the tension of land.The corridor space of high-level retirement home plays a more important role in the daily life of the elderly,based on the height of their buildings and the limitations of the elderly's own actions.However,the corridor space has not received enough attention,the problems in its design and use have become increasingly prominent.Corridor space is an important part of the transportation space in the senior nursing home,which takes the function of space organization and transportation evacuation,but it is not limited to the function of passing and evacuation.The design of the corridor space will largely affect the perception of the spatial sense of the elderly,the enthusiasm of the behavior activity,the comfort in use,and the convenience.This thesis is based on the Shenzhen area and takes the space of residential unit corridors in senior retirement home in Shenzhen as the research object.Through the research background,related concepts and research status to clarify the research content and scope of this paper,taking the physiological and psychological characteristics of the elderly and the climate characteristics of Shenzhen as the starting point,summarized the nursing home type high-rise residential units corridor space in Shenzhen,characteristics and shortcomings.This paper focuses on the status quo of the space of the four senior nursing home corridors in Shenzhen,and discusses the characteristics and problems of the space of senior nursing home corridors in Shenzhen.On this basis,questionnaires and other methods were used to summarize the elderly's satisfaction with the corridor space and their use requirements.Finally,we discuss the design methods and strategies of high-level retirement home living units corridor space in Shenzhen,from the aspects of corridor space safety,access convenience,comfortable environment,warm family atmosphere,comfortable communicative rest space,near-earth space and use efficiency,put forward corresponding design strategies and measures.
