As a new type of "green" material,basalt fiber is widely used in the construction industry because of its naturalness and comprehensive properties(acid resistance,alkali resistance,high and low temperature resistance,and good mechanical properties).The strength of cement solidified aeolian sand material is relatively low.When used as a base material for roads that penetrate sand,it is easy to produce cracks under the repeated action of the vehicle load.In this paper,combining the fine characteristics of basalt fiber and the shortcomings of cement solidified aeolian sand materials,the road performance of unconfined compressive strength,indirect tensile strength,frost resistance,and temperature shrinkage performance of solidified aeolian sand mixed with basalt fiber cement is studied.Experimental Research.The specific research content is as follows:(1)The unconfined compressive strength test and indirect tensile strength test were used to determine the change rule of mechanical strength of cement cured aeolian sand with different basalt fiber mass content,different cement content and different ages.The test results show that the incorporation of basalt fiber can significantly improve the compressive strength and tensile strength of cement cured aeolian sand.According to the comparison of the strength values of different fiber samples,it is found that the basalt fiber content is 0.5%;With the increase of cement content and curing age,the mechanical properties of cement cured aeolian sand have been improved.(2)Freeze-thaw cycle test and temperature shrinkage test were used to determine the influence of different basalt fiber content and different cement content on the freeze-thaw resistance and temperature shrinkage of cement cured aeolian sand.The test results show that when the fiber is in the range of 0.5% the frost resistance and heat shrinkage resistance of the sample are significantly improved.When the fiber content exceeds the appropriate range,the frost resistance and temperature shrinkage of the test piece The improvement rate of sexuality has declined;with the increase of cement content,the frost resistance of the specimen has been improved but its shrinkage resistance has been reduced.(3)From the economic point of view,through the survey and analysis of sand-boring roads in Inner Mongolia,it is concluded that the basalt fiber cement cured aeolian sand base has good economic benefits and promotion prospects.
