The cement stabilized macadam material has the advantage of strong height,good integrity and easy raw material,which is widely used in highway construction.Existing studies have shown that adding a certain amount of fiber to the cement stable rock can help improve its mechanical properties and crack resistance.Basalt fiber is a mineral fiber,which is different from other common fibers,it is a new inorganic green high performance fiber material.This thesis mainly studies the influence law the mechanical properties and durability of cement stabilized macadam material mixed with or without basalt fiber,which has a certain practical value and reference in the application of cement stabilized gravel base.In this study,considering the basalt fiber in cement stabilized macadam are mainly distributed in the cement and slurry that is formed by fine aggregate,so first of all,the experimental study foucs on the performance of the cement and fine aggregate mixture with the basalt fiber,through adding different dosage,different length of basalt fiber,test the compressive strength and bending strength,results show that the basalt fiber dosage and length all affect the compressive strength,bending strength of 7 days.And under the condition of different fiber length,when the basalt fiber content was 0.5 ‰,compressive strength and flexural strength of the cement and fine aggregate mixture of 7 days were improved the most significant effect.According to above research,under the condition of basalt fiber content is 0.5 ‰,studied the different fiber length of cement stabilized macadam mixture,depending on the influence of the compressive strength and splitting strength,further determining that when the basalt fiber length is 12 mm,the compressive strength,splitting strength showed best.On the basis of these researchs,the test of mechanical properties and shrinkage,antifreeze and fatigue were carried out further on the ordinary cement stabilized macadam and basalt fiber cement stabilized macadam.The results show that compared with ordinary cement stabilized macadam,after cement stabilized macadam reinforced by basalt fiber,its 28 days compressive strength,7 days the cleavage strength and 14 days flexural strength improve the most obvious,which is as high as 21.5%,38.81% and 21.5% respectively;its 14 days rebound modulus decrease was up to 22.40%.The shrinkage and drying coefficient can be reduced by 12.88 % and 11.76 % respectively.Increase to 2.02 percent for 28 days.The fatigue frequency of the 90 days of cement stabilized macadam is improved,but it was not significant.To synthesize the various test results: the basalt fiber can improve the effects of mechanical properties of cement stabilized macadam considerably improved,its durability is enhanced but significantly lower.
