Reactive Powder Concrete(RPC)is a new kind of concrete which has a high-strength and high-durability,due to its variety of cementitious materials,it has a widely applications because of its excellent performance.But due to the cost of steel fiber usually used in RPC is high and the fiber was easily get rusty in harsh environments like chloride and deicing salt,so many scholars started to investigate the properties of RPC using other types of fiber instead of steel fiber.In order to investigate the application of basalt fiber RPC,this paper using basalt fiber to replace steel fiber and researched the properties and got the following conclusions:1.The paper regarded water-binder ratio,the volume content of fiber,the length of fiber and the curing age as influence factors,designed and made 15 different combinations of specimens,with the number of 180,and tested the compression strength and splitting tensile strength,to know the influence of different parameters on the strength of basalt fiber RPC.The test results showed: for the compression strength test and splitting tensile strength test,the best water-binder ratio was 0.22,for the 12 mm fiber,the best fiber volume content was 0.10%,and 0.05% for the6 mm fiber.The basalt fiber did not influence the cube compression strength of RPC obviously,but the splitting tensile strength has obviously improvement with the use of basalt fiber.The12 mm basalt fiber performed better improvement of strength than 6mm fiber when the specimens had same volume content.The basalt fiber has few influence of the early strength of RPC.2.Regarded the length of fiber and the volume content of fiber as influence factors,made 4combinations of specimens,and conducted the axial compressive test of basalt fiber RPC.The results showed after adulterating the fiber,the deformation ability of RPC was improved and delayed the damage process;the best volume content was 0.10% for the specimens with 12 mm basalt fiber.Drawing the stress-strain curves according to the test data of basalt fiber RPC,and fitting the constitutive relationship by a section equation,compared the result with the test results,find the fit results were good.3.Considered the influence of water-binder ratio and the volume content of fiber on the chloride ion permeability,made and tested 12 combinations of specimens,with the number of 36,the test results showed,the chloride ion permeability was best performed when the water-binder ratio was 0.22 and the volume content was 0.10%,and the electric flux of all the basalt fiber RPC specimens can be ignored,which means the basalt fiber RPC has a great resistance to chloride ion permeability.Then conducted tested the carbonation resistance of 1 combination of basalt fiber RPC,and did not find the carbonation performance when the carbonation was carriedout for 28 days,which means the basalt fiber RPC has a good resistance to carbonation.Therefore,the basalt RPC has a good performance on durability.
