| In the process of modern urbanization,more and more attention is paid to environmental protection,energy conservation and sustainable development.In order to improve the urban environment and improve the pavement performance,water retaining and cooling roads emerge as the times require.In the construction of urban road,it can reduce the temperature of the pavement under high temperature,reduce the rutting of the road,increase the humidity of the surrounding environment,restrain the dust,and effectively realize the purpose of the construction of the sponge city.There are many kinds of water retaining materials in the current water retaining and cooling roads.Under the high temperature environment of traditional pavement,the problems such as high road temperature,large rutting depth and serious dust emission are encountered.In this paper,water retaining Pavements Based on SAP mortar are studied.In this paper,four different kinds of SAP were added to the mortar with different water absorbency and content,and the mechanical properties,fluidity and water retention properties of the mortar were studied.Finally,the optimum mix ratio of the required water retention mortar was obtained.The mixture ratio of porous bitumen mixture and large pore cement concrete was determined by volume method,and the water retention mortar was perfused.The road performance,water retention and cooling performance of the specimens before and after grouting were systematically tested.The results show that the dynamic stability of the porous asphalt mixture can be significantly improved and the rutting depth of the asphalt pavement can be reduced by the grouting of water retaining mortar.While improving the strength and low temperature performance,the water stability will not be affected,but the skid resistance will be greatly reduced.The water holding capacity of water retaining asphalt mixture increased by 0.73 kg/m~2 compared with that before grouting,and the water absorption effect was remarkable.The strength of water retaining cement concrete increased by 6.86MPa compared with that before grouting,and the water retaining capacity increased by 11.4kg/m~2 compared with that before grouting.And the loss rate of mass loss after freezing and thawing cycle has no obvious change,which shows that the mechanical properties and water retention property of the cement concrete are obviously improved under the durability.The cooling effect of water retaining asphalt mixture and water retaining cement concrete can reach above 10℃,and the grouting rate can reach about 85%of the connectivity porosity.It shows that after grouting,a part of the joint pore will be retained,so that the road surface can also achieve the purpose of water seepage while absorbing water.In conclusion,water retaining and cooling pavement materials have excellent road performance,water retention and cooling performance.The water retaining and cooling pavement proposed in this pa per can be widely applied to road paving in urban areas,pavements of main roads in cities,and pavements of parking lots and large square pavements.The water retaining and cooling pavement fully embodies the construction concept of the sponge city,which can improve the utilization of the precipitation resources,improve the walking comfort and adjust the environment temperature,which is in line with the requirements of the country’s environmental and conservation oriented society. |
