| China is a country on bicycles.Although bicycles are in a recession stage,non-motorized transportation is still an important part of China’s transportation.With the implementation of the sharing concept,non-motorized transportation accounts for a larger proportion in China’s transportation structure.Non-motorized vehicles are small in size,and operations such as steering and acceleration are also flexible.These advantages,such as low carbon and environmental,make it popular with residents.At the same time,high-speed development has also brought traffic hazards.Traffic accidents caused by bicycles or electric vehicles have also increased.Especially,electric bicycles like overtaking,overweight,speeding,and traffic violations have not been well managed.Therefore,research on non-motor vehicle traffic flow characteristics and non-motor vehicle traffic safety studies are of significance.Based on the measured data of a large number of road sections,this paper uses SPSS and mathematical statistics methods to analyze the non-motorized speed characteristics,density characteristics,traffic collision characteristics,and safety characteristics on physically isolated non-motorized road sections.This article first introduced the research status of non-motor vehicle traffic both at home and abroad,and proposed the meaning,research con tent and technical route of this article.Then the article designed program to investigate on the physically isolated urban non-motor vehicle lane,and then the article briefly analyzed the basic characteristics of non-motor vehicle traffic,including the basic characteristics of bicycles and electric bicycles,motion characteristics,cyclists’ psychological activity and cycling behavior,and age.、gender、 characteristics、 time and speed distribution and density characteristics.Among them,the non-motor vehicle’s speed characteristics and density characteristics were analyzed,and it was verified that the speed was subject to a normal distribution,and owing to the speed of non-motor vehicles’ interaction with each other,their speed was lower than that of their respective pure non-motorized vehicles flow.After establishing a regression model,it was found that the density of non-motorized vehicles on the road section was significantly related to the width of the road section,the throughput of each transport mode,and the proportion of the composition..Then,it briefly explained the types of non-motor vehicle traffic conflicts,analyzed the process of traffic conflicts,introduced the concept of number of traffic conflict incidents,and conducted a quantitative study of the mutual interference between non-motorized traffic modes,and analyzed the number of road collision incident models to extract traffic.And it determined the traffic conflict intensity calculation formula,and the collision-based electric bicycle conversion factor.Based on the previous conflict analysis and using observational data,a safety evaluation model for bicycle sections was established.The integrated traffic conflict rate of bicycles at the road section was used as an indicator to classify safety levels,and survey data was used to determine the safety level thresholds.The model was used to analyze the safety of bicycle at the Xiaozhai East Road section,and then the article gave some advices on safety improvement. |
