| With the acceleration of urbanization, the growing popularity of motor vehicles, traffic congestions are becoming more serious and traffic accidents occur more frequently. Urban Trunk Road intersections are the bottlenecks of the urban traffic capability, and are also the traffic accident-prone land. So the implementation of scientific management and control is an efficient way to release urban traffic congestions, and to reduce traffic accidents. Therefore, as a starting point, this article carried out a research related to the coordination of urban Route intersection signal control, which is in order to protect traffic safety and to fully play the traffic capacity of urban trunk roads.This paper firstly makes a conclusion and analysis on the basic principal and main methods of the urban trunk roads congestions'design, and the basic principal of traffic conflicts technology, which is based on the deep research of some related technologies in the fields of the urban arterial traffic signal coordinated control and traffic safety in and abroad. Then it applies the traffic conflicts technology to the control of traffic signals; based on the times of stops and the length of queues, it increased the evaluation index of signal phase security; it proposed a method of the urban arterial traffic signal coordinated control based on the safety evaluation of traffic conflicts, using hierarchical fuzzy control algorithm. Finally, the paper has a signal phase security evaluation of the wire system of Chongqing New South Road. It controls vectors by conflict rate to optimize phase, and designed an optimization process of signal phase, and it also presented some main methods of hierarchical fuzzy control algorithm, and completed the programming design of the algorithm.The urban arterial signal coordinated control based on the safety evaluation of traffic conflicts firstly applies traffic conflicts technology to the phase optimization design of wire system. It has good effects in solving urban traffic congestions, the predictions and prevention of traffic accidents, and the safety performance evaluation of wire system. It reflects the scientific concept of people-oriented, and at the same time, it provides a new theory for solving traffic congestion and safety problems in trunk intersections. |
