With the progress of science and technology,The market of some manufacturing enterprises in China has changed from the domestic market to the international market.In the increasingly fierce market competition,companies must increase the production efficiency if they want to seize the market advantage.So,In order to meet the ever-changing market demands,enhance their market competitiveness and increase their productivity,enterprises are constantly pursuing a more efficient and complete manufacturing system.Due to the complexity of the manufacturing system,how to accurately and efficiently evaluate and optimize the performance of the manufacturing system has become an important issue in system research.The automobile engine assembly line system is a typical manufacturing system,therefore,this paper takes the engine assembly line as the research object,uses the computer simulation software to establish the assembly line simulation model,analyzes the simulation results,finds out the problems of the assembly line,and proposes corresponding improvement and optimization schemes,which provides reference for the improvement of the actual system.This paper takes the assembly line of an engine company as the research object,and uses the Arena simulation platform to establish a simplified simulation model of the actual assembly line system based on the assembly process and process time data collected from the actual system site investigation and constraints.then verifies the effectiveness of the simulation model.Finally,run the Arena simulation model,through meticulous analysis of operations,find out the problems in the assembly line system.Problems with assembly line imbalance,the linear programming method was used to reclassify the assembly process of each workstation to increase the balance rate of the assembly line,and optimize the temporary storage capacity by adjusting the time interval for entities to reach the system.Then,considering the factors such as the assembly line output,the number of products in operation,and the capacity of the temporary storage area in combination with the actual situation,the overall optimization scheme of the assembly line system is proposed.
