With the rapid development of new military's innovation,unmanned battlefield has become an important developing trend.To counter the evolution of unmanned underwater combat system,and adapt to new attack object,the research of passive detection and localization for unmanned underwater platform was performed in this paper.The unmanned underwater platforms mainly include unmanned surface vehicle(USV),unmanned underwater vehicle(UUV),and other small moving vehicles.When the unmanned underwater platforms cruise or perform various tasks,the related sonar equipment carried will send high-frequency sonar pulse.The passive detection and location method relying on the high-frequency acoustic pulse sent by platforms' sonar was researched in this paper.Compared with the methods relying on radiation noise generated by platforms' motion,it can get farther detection and location range.The major research contents and innovation points are as follows:1)Aimed at the detection and location of unmanned underwater platform,a target motion analysis algorithm model based on pulse's strength variation of arrival(SVOA)and time difference of arrival(TDOA),and a new passive ranging method for single hydrophone were proposed in this paper.2)A detection method base on short-time spectral centroid was adopted to detect pulse signals and pulse's time of arrival.According to the results,the estimation methods based on autocorrelation cumulant and cross-correlation were applied to calculate the pulse's SVOA and TDOA.3)Combined with the parameter estimation equation,L-M algorithm and particle swarm optimization algorithm have been researched in this paper.The L-M algorithm has met the requirement in real-time and accuracy for the parameter estimation of short range target,and the particle swarm optimization algorithm has met the requirement in accuracy and stability for the parameter estimation of long range target.4)In this paper,the computational model of high-frequency acoustic absorption coefficient was researched,the acoustic absorption coefficient in research frequencies was calculated,and the changing of acoustic absorption coefficient under various conditions was researched.It provides a priori information for the accurate estimation of target motion parameters.Combining with the development requirement of passive detection and localization for unmanned underwater platform on water mine platform,the detection of pulse and the estimation of pulse's strength variation of arrival and time difference of arrival are based on the sonar's pulse signal passively obtained by a single hydrophone.According to the estimation results,parameters of target motion were achieved calculation.A complete detection scheme was formed in this paper.Numerical simulations and partial data processing results showed the feasibility of the method proposed.All the above works are of a certain extent instructional significance on developing the detection technology for new type active attack water mine.
