Since the 21 st century,many countries in the world have built huge transport networks.However,transport vehicles have been developing at a much faster rate than roads and other transportation infrastructure,resulting in a series of traffic problems like road congestion,parking difficulties,environmental pollution.Among these,in the urban environment,about 12% to 15% of the vehicles are looking for free parking spaces.However,on the contrary,the vacancy rate of many parking spaces keeps high because of information blockages and isolated geographical position,resulting in a waste of resources which in turn leads to inefficient vehicular traffic in urban areas.Handling parking difficulties has become one of the most pressing issues.In view of the problems like parking difficulties and low parking spaces utilization in urban development,this paper proposed a parking management and implementation plan based on low power network geomagnetic technology.Through analyzing the parking status and requirements in Wuhan,we systematically investigated the technical feasibility,economic feasibility as well as the corresponding problems and risks.In addition,we established a parking demand management system model,designed the overall structure of parking management system,data layering collecting structure and network structure,and applied the parking lot scheduling model and algorithm of toll parking and floating parking fees in the system.And we proposed a targeted implementation recommendations according to the bottlenecks from the implementation of parking space management system involving project organization structure,parking construction financing mode,hardware equipment deployment and parking scheduling decision model.Compared with the traditional management approaches,this parking management scheme using low-power wireless networks and geomagnetic sensing technology that can solve the problem of "information opaqueness",finish the upgrade of parking spaces from offline management to online and unmanned management.Through the practical implementation measures,this scheme improves the efficiency of parking space management,reduces vehicle selection and parking time,alleviates traffic jams and provides a good support for the sustainable development of urban transport.
