Study On The Theory Of City Memory And Its Exploration In Environmental Art Design

Along with the rapid process of reform and opening up,China’s urban development also gradually speed up the footsteps,site features and functions of city landscape of unprecedented changes have taken place,at the same time also brought the present situation of the city "homogeneity",the city lost its own unique "urban memory",in recent years,the "city of memories" for the city’s key gradually known by people,more and more scholars on the study of the "urban memory",but will "urban memory" theory and urban environmental art design practice of combining research but I did not cause attention.This paper is divided into five parts:The first chapter explains the problem of the image of different cities has been more and more similar.This chapter analyzes the content,meaning,method and framework of this research.Based on my own research on the memory of city in China and abroad,drawing the relevant theoretical differences at home and abroad.The second chapter mainly discusses the basic theory of this paper-the memory of city theory.Based on the concept of the memory of city,through the elaboration of environmental psychology,landscape architecture and organic city renewal theory.From its origin,elements,types and related factors,the four aspects of the memory of city are combed theoretically.At the same time,the extraction of urban memory characteristics and the role of urban memory continuation are analyzed.The third chapter is based on the study of the memory of city theory,from the perspective of urban memory generation of environmental art and the relationship between urban memory in-depth analysis,drawing the balance of the two complementary points.Based on this common ground,this paper analyzes the problems of the image of different cities has becoming more and more identical that can be solved by combining urban memory with environmental art design.And introduce the theory of cross disciplines to support the argument,to explain the seriousness of the problem and the urgency to solve it.Which explains how to integrate into the environment through environmental art.The fourth chapter analyzes the principles and methods of the memory of city importing environmental art creation.From the basic principle and design method,the expression of three aspects,to evaluate urban memory space elements,shape elements extraction,color elements integration,material application were discussed in this paper,and join the specific case of historical block.The fifth chapter introduces the urban memory import environmental art design creation practice exploration——Conceptual Design of Environmental Renovation in the Hankou Customs House.The analysis of the motivations of the transformation,the design of the positioning,the extraction of the memory symbols and the final conceptual design...
