Due to the railway transportation capacity,significant economic and social benefits,the development of heavy haul railway transportation has become the development direction of railway transportation in various countries in the world,and is also the main way for China to accelerate the improvement of railway transportation capacity.With the increase of heavy haul railway transportation volume and the increase of axle load of trains,some existing separated piers have weak lateral stiffness,which results in excessive lateral amplitude of beam body and piers,which seriously jeopardizes the safety of bridges and driving.This paper takes the separated bridge piers of ShuoHuang railway as the research object,and uses the methods of theoretical analysis,finite element analysis and real-bridge operational performance test to study the dynamic characteristics and reinforcement technology of the separated piers of heavy haul railways.The main research content is as follows:(1)The dynamic characteristics and evaluation criteria of piers were studied,and several parameters affecting the bridge vibration were analyzed.Combined with the reinforcement methods for railway piers,the existing problems in the reinforcement methods and reinforcement methods for the separation piers of the ShuoHuang Railway are summarized.(2)Through finite element calculation analysis,the improvement of the lateral stiffness of piers and the effect of the reinforcement method for the separated piers of heavy haul railways,and the influence of the lateral stiffness of bridge piers on the lateral vibration parameters of the main beams were studied to select the most suitable reinforcement scheme.(3)Through the operation performance test of the separated piers before and after reinforcement,the accuracy of the finite element analysis method was verified,and the changes of the lateral vibration characteristics of the beam body and pier before and after reinforcement were analyzed.
