With the rapid development of China's transportation industry and the increasingly perfection of the national highway network,more and more highway bridges have been built.The bridge expansion joint device is an important part of the bridge.Its main function is to regulate the influence of temperature changes on the beam body and ensure the free telescopic deformation of the beam plate.In the bridge structure,the expansion joint directly bears the impact of the vehicle and is exposed to nature.The impact of the expansion joint is easily damaged,affects the service life of the bridge,increases the amount of maintenance works,and causes certain economic losses and adverse social impacts.Therefore,when the expansion joint is damaged,it must be repaired and transformed in time to ensure the safety of the bridge structure and the comfort and safety of the vehicle.In this paper,based on the finite element analysis of the existing mechanism of the commonly used expansion joints,a new joint expansion joint without vibration expansion joints was designed and developed.The Jingkun high-speed Hutuo River Bridge was used as the backing project for trial installation..After running test on the expansion joint,the test shows that all technical indicators have reached the technical requirements.Through analysis and summary of the use of this expansion joint,it is believed that the vibration-free expansion joint has the value of promotion and application in the field of bridge construction.This article focuses on technical research from the following aspects:(1)Conduct a large number of investigations on the damage status of bridge expansion joints,analyze the damage mechanism of expansion joints,and lay the engineering foundation for improving the durability and applicability of expansion joints.(2)Study the impact load caused by vehicles passing through expansion joints at different driving speeds and its effect on the expansion joints,and discuss the methods and mechanics models for reducing the damage to expansion joints caused by vehicle impact loads.(3)Conducted research on the structure and performance of new expansion joints.A new type of non-vibrating expansion joint was designed to improve the structure of the new type of expansion joint,and its stress state during operation and its behavior during impact resistance were studied.(4)No vibration expansion joint performance test.The applicability of expansion joints is tested by installing test seams.(5)Research on construction process and construction method.A set of corresponding construction processes was proposed for the expansion joints developed to ensure maximum use of the expansion joints and their use.
