In modern warfare,photoelectronic devices play an important role,such as photoelectric guided weapons,photodetector,and optical collimator.Smokescreen can effectively interfere with optoelectronic devices,and enemy optoelectronic devices can't reconnoiter.Smokescreen masking effect is an important parameter to evaluate the smoking shading effect.It is very practical to the research its testing method.Aiming at the poor real-time performance and low accuracy of the traditional test methods,the paper presents a method of measuring shading effect of visible smokescreen based on spectral imaging technique.Firstly,the test model was improved,which includes contrast and smokescreen effective shading size.Then the paper carries out the scheme design of overall system and the selection of key components.Color images are obtained which approach the visual function of the human eye,after the original images from the AOTF are corrected and synthesized.The color image is dealt with filtering and feature extraction to get an evaluation area.The evaluation area is applied to the test model,and then the result is gotten.In the last,it's necessary to build a test platform to verify the quality.The test result demonstrates that the accuracy is only 1.9% within the test accuracy requirement.
