Research On The Reuse Of Fangta Reservoir Of Yan'an Abandoned Facilities Under The Background Of City Betterment And Ecological Restoration

The existence and development of the city are inseparable from all kinds of related facilities.They are the basic support for the healthy development of the city,and ensure the normal operation of various aspects such as power transmission,transportation,flood control,prosperity and livelihood.However,due to the development of science and technology,some of the original facilities were replaced by new technologies and new materials.As a result,they were no longer assume the original set function and be abandoned,even hindered the development of the city.These facilities are the result of the city's development to a certain historical stage,and they are the important compositions of the historical memory of the city.As a material entity,they are also as some resources for this city.With the transformation of China's cities from the extension type to the intensive development,urban construction has ushered in the new normal of “City Betterment and Ecological Restoration” as the main work content,and has become a core measure to enhance the quality of cities and achieve a rational allocation of resources.How to display the efficiency of abandoned resources such as abandoned facilities and achieve the purpose of effective protection and scientific utilization through “City Betterment and Ecological Restoration” to achieve its functional transformation and quality improvement is an important issue that we need to face directly at this moment.This article starts from the perspective of City Betterment and Ecological Restoration,and based on a review of related basic theories at domestic and foreign about the reuse of abandoned facilities,summarizes the elements and models for the reuse of abandoned facilities,and discusses the topic of this study,the classification,composition,and construction of reservoirs.Secondly,this article based on the principles of the Industrial heritage protection,the Urban Organic Renewal,the Urban Darning,and the Landscape Urbanism,and based on relevant practices for the reuse of abandoned facilities at home and abroad,the methods for reuse of abandoned facilities were summarized,and conservation and reconstruction were proposed.Finally,Fangta Reservoir,an abandoned water conservancy facility in Yan'an,was used as an empirical research object.Based on the characteristics of Fangta Reservoir,this method was applied to the design practice of Fangta Reservoir Reuse.I will try to explore the reuse design methods for urban abandoned facilities,especially abandoned reservoirs,through effective initiatives of“City Betterment and Ecological Restoration”,and provide reference and guidance for the application research of this topic.
