Solar Potential Assessment Research Based On Building Morphology

Facing worsening environment problems,the application of solar energy also become more widespread and important.Even the harvesting of solar energy still encounters many barriers.The research focus on the application of solar energy in city scale and the impact of large-scale solar application.The variational urban morphology(density)of city is the key to expose the mechanism of solar potential distribution in urban blocks.The study explore three levels of solar potential: Physical,Geographic and technology potential,to figure outSolar potential study simulation with Parametrization design,Design of Experiment(DOE),Genctic Algorithm,Building energy simulation(GA),Linear programming and other methods to make sure the result was reliable.The thesis tried to explores the different between city block with and without installation of solar system effect on energy consumption of actual blocks.Then find out a better solution of urban integrated with solar system.
