Construction engineering management is an important branch of engineering management that includes various management activities throughout the whole life circle of planning,design,construction and use phases.Although the theory and system of construction management in China have been continuously developed and improved since the reform and opening-up,there is still a difference compared with the international leading engineering management companies,especially in the super engineering with large scale,complicated systems,harsh environments and sophisticated technologies,the more scientific,professional and effective construction management mode is needed.As one of the typical representative of the highest level of national engineering construction,the large scale suspension bridges bring many challenges to the construction management of the engineering because of the complex environmental conditions,high standard construction requirements and huge engineering scale of its anchorage engineering.This article first introduces the main problems in construction management of similar engineering both at home and abroad,and then carries out a preliminary analysis based on the basic theory of construction management.It points out that the four core objectives of quality,safety,schedule and cost of the construction must be planned,coordinated,optimized and balanced by the modern management means,leading to a brand new management mode that combines the flat management with BIM technology.Next,taking the construction management of XHW bridge anchorage engineering as a research example,this paper introduces how to use the new management mode to plan,organize,control and evaluate the management work of the critical working processes of the anchorage construction,solves the real difficulties of organic coordination,balance and synchronization of the four core objectives.Last,by summarizing the formed management results and putting forward the optimization and improvement direction,a set of reproducible and propagable new engineering management core mode can be formed to promote the management level of China infrastructures and other comprehensive engineering.
