Study On The Space Design Of Prison Building With The Goal Of Prisoners' Resocialization

Prison is one of the state administrative agencies.It is the last nerve of the country's maintenance of social stability.With the development of the times,the research on prison has quietly changed.Recently,China has introduced various laws and regulations,and has strengthened the attention paid to the mental and psychological health of prisoners in prison administration.The reshaping of their values and the correction of defective personality have helped reforming prisoners.But the ignorance of the academic circles leads to the inability of its architectural space to conform to this trend of spiritual transformation.The physical space only satisfies the user's basic living needs.It is subtle that the architectural space influences the users' living.Under the influence of imprisonment,the correction effect is completely different.This thesis takes prison as the research object.Firstly,it collects the problems existing in our country's prisons through field research,questionnaires,and interviews with police officers and prisoners.It concludes that the contradiction of the efficiency of prisoner reform and the socialization of ex-prisoners.With this question,the author sums up the four major factors that cause this contradiction,including the incompetent physical space,the lack of communication skills,the loss of emotional expression ability,and the obfuscation of obedience and selfdemarcation.The four major factors were used to conduct targeted research on the updating of the space of the residential quarters,including the analysis of the color of physical space and the visual field of vision,the rational allocation of the number of housing units,the spatial adaptation to social behavior patterns,and the spatial analysis of the reciprocal relationship between the criminals.The final design project integrated these four factors that affect the resocialization level of the prisoners,trying to make the prisoners achieve the reforming on the aspects of adapting the physical environment,social interaction,spiritual experience.
