Ethical Caring Research In Contemporary "Silver" Home Product Design

Since the 1950 s,major developed countries in the West,such as France,Britain,Sweden,have stepped into the aging society.Up to the present day,the population aging has already spread from the point mainly in the developed countries to the surface in the developing countries,and has become a global problem.According to the results of the 5th census in China,China formally entered the ranks of the aged society in 2000,and then ushered in the "three times" of the elderly group.The elderly group will become the focus of social attention.So.How to care for the physical and psychological health problems of the elderly has become an unavoidable problem for the elderly in contemporary society.This article focus on the life of the elderly population from the design perspective,selects the "silver" household product(that is,the elderly household product)to carry on the ethical care research which is the most frequent contact among the elderly group at home.Aiming at the problems of ignoring the change of the elderly emotion,the limb,the behavior mode,this article put forward the silver caring that strategy of using ethical way to open up the caring for the elderly mind,behavior,limb,the five senses and other aspects,make the "silver" household products more in line with the physical and psychological,material and spiritual satisfaction of the elderly group.Hope that through this study,we can appeal to all sectors of the community to take on the responsibility of caring for the elderly group and enable the elderly to settle down in their old age.At the same time,this article can also provide a new perspective and direction for the study of product design.
