With the development of science and philosophy,architecture is tending to be complicated,and the concept of nonlinear architecture is formally put forward.From the architectural design point of view,this complexity gradually leads to the drawbacks of traditional design methods become more and more obvious,has been unable to meet the requirements of contemporary non-linear architectural design,the urgent need for the introduction of new design methods.Since the concept of BIM(Building Information Modeling,Building Information Model and Building Information Management)has been put forward for many years,people’s understanding of BIM has gradually deepened,and the use of BIM has gradually returned to rationality.This has brought new opportunities for the development of BIM.BIM is the process of design,construction and operation of projects by using digital models.The core is "information".Input,storage and expression.The characteristics of nonlinear buildings are mainly in the form of nonlinearity,design and emphasis.How to design nonlinear forms and preserve and transfer them throughout the life cycle of a buildingThere is information.Therefore,BIM and nonlinear building design have strong combination,and deserve in-depth analysis and research.On the basis of in-depth analysis of non-linear building,this paper summarizes the characteristics and difficulties of non-linear building design,demonstrates the applicability and necessity of BIM technology in its design,and then summarizes the thinking mode and method steps of BIM application in non-linear building design from the perspective of building life cycle.Finally,an example is given.Verify the feasibility of the design method. |
