Research And Design Of The Tea Culture Club In Chengdong Village,Xiaoyi County

As Chinese unique historic buildings with great culture and aesthetic,the traditional courtyard not only possesses practical functions as dwellings,but also embraces the pursuit of aesthetic and artistic features.In particular,there is unique artistic charm in Shanxi Merchants' traditional courtyard,which not only has practical functions,but also possesses architectural art,decorative art,environmental art as well as the traditional cultural background.However,with the rapid development of modern society,novel functional buildings spring up all over the world,which make the traditional courtyard outdated and in the lists of urban planning.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the inheritance and development of the traditional courtyard in modern society,which calls for a deep understand and analysis of the cultural connotation and artistic value of traditional courtyard.Based on the connection between the traditional courtyard and the demands of modern life,key points and issues that might occur in the course of transformation of the traditional courtyard are investigated comprehensively in this paper.In the meanwhile,it is noted that Chinese traditional tea culture has both a long history and modern entertainment function.Thus,Protection and re-use of the architectural form and decoration subjects of the traditional courtyard are analyzed and paid attention to when designing the scheme of the transformation from traditional courtyard into tea culture club.In addition,specific details,including ventilation,heat insulation and daylighting are dealt with properly,which provides theoretical and instructional values for transformation and re-use of courtyard.
