Catenary ice coating is caused by the condensation of the drips in the air on the surface of the catenary,which is a serious disaster phenomenon.Catenary ice coating will result in the failure of pantograph normal current receiving,affecting the power supply quality of the train.In severe cases,it may cause major accidents such as catenary disconnection and so on,which may threaten the safe operation of the train and bring huge economic losses and serious social impacts.China is a country with a large area of land and complex weather conditions.It is one of the countries with serious ice coating phenomenon.With the rapid development of urban rail transit and the gradual formation of urban rail transit network,the catenary ice coating problem in urban rail transit needs to be solved urgently.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study on on-line anti-icing technology for urban rail transit catenary.In recent years,the medium voltage energy feeding device in the traction power supply system(hereinafter referred to as the medium voltage energy feeding device)has been widely concerned,and has been widely applied to the regenerative braking energy feedback of urban rail transit.In this paper,an on-line anti-icing technology proposal for urban rail transit catenary based on the mediun voltage energy feeding device is proposed.The medium voltage energy feeding device can transmit energy in two directions,so that the electric energy can be circulated between the medium voltage power supply network and the catenary.The Joule heat generated by the current flowing through the catenary prevents catenary ice coating and realizes on-line anti-icing for catenary.In this paper,it's studied that the catenary ice coating mechanism and the calculation method of anti-icing current to calculate the anti-icing current under different climatic conditions.Four typical anti-icing energy cycle modes are designed according to the operation demand and it's studied that the control strategy of the medium voltage energy feeding device.Build simulation models on the Matlab/Simulink platform to verify the proposed anti-icing energy cycle modes and the control strategy.The anti-ice monitoring software platform is developed on the Lab VIEW platform to control and monitor the operation of the medium voltage energy feeding device.The communication test platform is built to test the anti-ice monitoring software platform.In order to verify the proposed on-line anti-icing technology proposal for catenary,the double energy feeding devices back-to-back experiment platform is built,and the energy cycle between the traction substations is simulated by the double energy feeding devices back-to-back experiment,which verifies the feasibility of the proposal.
