Nowadays,in China,high-speed development has been achieved in the field of transportation.Meanwhile,there are more and more vehicles,especially private cars,buses and trucks,which makes road pressure become bigger and bigger.Therefore the search of high-quality road becomes crucial.In order to improve the performance of asphalt mixture pavement,it is high time to improve the durability and stability of pavement by using new material and new technology.It is an important way to improve the performance of asphalt mixture by adding fiber to it.Therefore,different fiber asphalt mixture has its own advantages both in the technical quality and economic benefit.In this essay,the study of pavement performance of asphalt mixture uses the method of blended fiber which is based on mixing fibers in asphalt mixture.In choosing the fiber,polyacrylonitrile fiber and basalt fiber are the mainly selection which have obvious advantages in road performance.What's more,comparisons have also been made between the two.The main research contents are as follows:1.It studies the optimum asphalt-aggregate ratio of different proportion of fiber reinforced asphalt mixture AC-13 through the Standard Marshall test.This study mixed the basalt fiber and polyacrylonitrile fiber,respectively according to the mass ratio of 1:4,2:3,3:2,4:1,in order to improve the performance of asphalt mixture.The gross of mixed fiber adopted 0.3% of the International Standard.2.It also studies the influence of different ratio of fiber content on porosity,density and stability of asphalt mixture.3.It confirms the optimum design of blend fiber asphalt mix proportion through the Marshall test,wheel rutting test,Immersion Marshall test and low-temperature bend test and four-point beam experiment,which aimed to study the high temperature performance,water stability,low-temperature performance and fatigue performance of blend fiber asphalt mixture.4.It provides technical support and reference for the application and decision of fiber modified asphalt mixture by using the efficiency coefficient method to evaluate the basalt fiber-asphalt mixture,polyacrylonitrile fiber asphalt mixture and blend fiber asphalt mixtures.Through a series of tests and comparative analysis of economic benefits,it is concluded that the road performance of mixed fiber asphalt mixture is obviously improved.When adding 40% basalt fiber and 60% polyacrylonitrile fiber,the cost performance of fiber asphalt mixture is the best.
