Nowadays,information network has been closely integrated with electric companies' production,management,operations,and services.It plays an important role and becomes an indispensable infrastructure and guarantee means for power systems.The subject comes from the technical transformation project for data communication network of the State Grid Corporation of China which aims to meet the demand of all levels' business and improve the service quality of data communication network.The thesis firstly analyses the existing data communication network in Xinzhou and specifies a series of problems such as poor performance,poor flexibility and low efficiency.The paper proposes a optimizing plan for electric power data communication network in Xinzhou to meet the demand of platform capacity and service bearing quality.The design scheme and corresponding implementation process are introduced in several areas including IP address,Border Gateway Protocol(BGP),Interior Gateway Protocol(IGP)and Multiple Protocol Label Switching(MPLS).Finally the optimizing data communication network is examined to make surethe network is stable and reliable.The newly-built data communication network re-specified the IP address and unified with the data communication network of Shanxi Province.At the same time,it optimized the BGP and IGP as well as the MPLS VPN cross-domain technology.Also the technical system and network architecture of the existing data communication network at all levels are updated forming a uniform network of technical specifications and collaborative work patterns.The new communication network solved a series of problems caused by explosive growth of data services and applications,also it greatly improved the standardized management of the entire data communications network.
