| The brain-based and knowledge-based mode of economic growth promotes the rapid rise and development of innovative design industry,gradually making innovative design become an important factor in enhancing competitiveness.Besides,it is of great significance to enhance the core competitiveness of manufacturing industry.Therefore,it is necessary to study the factors that have great impacts on the innovative design competitiveness as well as to learn how to develop the innovative design industry.Firstly,the current research situations are analyzed,and the development process of the innovative design industry in typical cities are investigated.Then the index system of innovative design competitiveness is built.After that the growth model of innovative design industry is established.The relation of innovative design competitiveness and innovative design industry is analyzed and the current situation of manufacturing industry,innovative design and policies in Zhejiang is elaborated.Finally,the strategies for promoting the innovative design competitiveness related to Zhejiang’s manufacturing are proposed.The contents and results of the research are as follows:(1)The development of innovative design industry of 6 cities(Tokyo,London,Paris,New York,Beijing and Shanghai)is chosen to be investigated.The result shows that the government plays a leading role in the education,technology,enterprise and market through policies.The improvement of education can promote the quality of talents.The upgrading of technology will provide endless impetus for the development of industry.The development of enterprises will form core brands,and the marketing requirements will guide the direction of industrial development;(2)The primary indexes such as talent factor,technology factor,market factor,government factor and enterprise factor are built according to the Diamond Model,and 15 secondary indexes are built according to Creative Index.The factor analysis is done based on 24 cities’ data,and leads to 3 abstract indicators of talent index,technology index and infrastructure index.The abstract indexes can be used to calculate cities’ the scores of innovative designs competitiveness.The result shows consistency with the actual situation which prove the rationality of the index system;(3)The indexes of innovative design competitiveness are used as one of influence factors for the development of innovative design industry.The growth model is built using system dynamics.The complete growth model is a one-direction-three circles model,which includes primary direction,industry chain,enterprises’ competition circle and enterprises’cost circle;(4)The industry chain acts as a bridge between innovative design industry and innovative design competitiveness.In addition,its development contributes to the improvement of 3 abstract indexes.Furthermore,the improvement of innovative design competitiveness brings a good development environment for the industry chain;(5)The scale of manufacturing in Zhejiang is relatively large,but its increasing rate of output value is descending.The government has held many design competitions.The guidance for innovative design has achieved initial success,but there are still some shortcomings.Besides,involved governing departments are encouraged to provide multiple financing services for enterprises and to propose a series of innovative policies;(6)According to the investigation of typical cities,the index system of innovative design competitiveness,the growth model of innovative design industry and the current status pf Zhejiang Province,the proposals for promoting the innovative design competitiveness related to Zhejiang’s manufacturing are addressed.The contents of these proposals include:building up a multi-layer and stereoscopic talent training system,establishing a professional talent market,accelerating the improvement of the industry chain of innovative design,encouraging the benign competition between enterprises,optimizing the fiscal policy and funds allocation,and establishing the service platform of innovative design industry. |
