With the rapid development of China's railway construction, the high-speed railway technology has been continuously improved and many routes have been opened in more than a decade.Under the background of new environment and guidance requirements,a batch of projects with Beijing South Railway Station,Nanjing South Railway Station and Tianjin Railway Station as examples New railway passenger station design and gradually put into use. However,in recent years, these new-type passenger transport hubs have shown that the flow of passengers into the station is too far and the transfer time is long. This shows that the theoretical research on the design of transfer space for railway passenger stations lags behind the actual construction. At present, transportation professionals have made quite a lot of achievements in the research on the transfer between these two modes of transport. These achievements are basically the research and analysis of the problems in the convergence of the two technologies and the tactics. However,Multiplication of the impact of the research content is less, still need to further explore architecture professionals. This paper first surveys and combs the super-sized railway designed and built after 2003 in our country, and classifies the transfer space of the super-large railway passenger terminal from the perspective of the difference in the layout of the interchange space.A case study of Beijing South Station,Shanghai Hongqiao Station and Nanjing South Railway Station. Then, the three stations were investigated on the spot, traffic flow was calculated and traffic transfer behavior was observed to analyze and summarize the relationship between the characteristics of passenger transfer and the architectural space of the three railway passenger stations. The main factors-transfer efficiency and space experience. Then, based on the theory of spatial syntax, the paper analyzes the accessibility, visibility and intelligibility of the transfer space of Nanjing South Railway Station,Beijing South Railway Station and Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station by using the method of axis analysis and evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of the transfer space of the three railway stations represented by the three. The paper respectively optimizes the plane of three transfer spaces, and makes spatial syntactic and simulation analysis of the optimized scheme.By comparing with the original scheme, the space experience of transfer space and the influencing factors of transfer efficiency are concluded, and the transfer space design strategy-introducing city functions, comprehensiving layout around transfer rooms, ensuring efficient and convenient traffic flow, increasing accessibility to key functional spaces, improving sight design of important nodes, and increasing spatial understanding. This thesis summarizes the main evaluation factors of the transfer space of the extra large railway passenger station from the perspective of passengers, and has certain reference significance for the design of the transfer space. The variables in the space syntax correspond to the five spatial features in the transfer space, and the optimization and design of transfer space layout are guided by the analysis of quantization and visualization.
