In the central and western regions,there are so many complicated topographies,such as hills and plateaus,which brought much difficulties for the railway construction.At the same time,these complex terrains also limited the transmission of radio waves and the coverage of signals.In order to ensure the safe operation of trains,the linkage control between facilitate train drivers and the dispatcher,the station attendant voice calls,the data transmission.All the railway line must be fully covered by the high quality and uninterrupted electromagnetic wave signals.But now,the fiber optic repeater technology is a particularly effective solution.This thesis first introduced the environment of railway wireless system operation,and introduced the digital dispatch communication system,wireless dispatch communication system and GSM-R system related to optical repeater equipment.Then,for the structure of optical repeater system,functions and features of the device to give a brief introduction of its classification,equipment appearance,etc,from which obtained the technical indicators of the equipment working and the application of optical approaching.Based on the construction of the Ankang Junction Railway from Xikang second railway(Xi'an to Ankang),the necessity and feasibility of the project construction were demonstrated.According to the construction of the line way,the network topology and wireless coverage of the optical fiber repeater system were selected and constructed,through the data calculation and the scene terrain to determine the installation location of the remote machine.Then beginning with the concrete examples of project construction,it introduced the optical fiber repeater system hardware installation,software debugging,weak field solution,and the reasonable application of optical fiber.In addition,the installation and production of the system and the installation of leaky cables continued to be improved and innovated.Finally,the solution to the problems encountered during the process of equipment opening and opening was mainly elaborated,which is also the focus and highlight of the paper.In the paper,in relative to the present technology,the fiber optic repeater technology has significant features and more cost-effective,and suitable for the blind and weak zone of the railway line.Hopefully,the research of this paper can provide more references for the subsequent similar projects.
