At this stage,voltage regulators from the power grid system to laboratoryoperated induction voltage regulators.There are inherent disadvantages.The range of pressure regulation of the system is too small,and the regulator used in the laboratory is prone to short circuit.Therefore,this design proposes a voltage regulator based on the orthogonal flux principle.Orthogonal magnetic field voltage regulator is to generate mutually orthogonal magnetic field components under the action of two excitations.By adjusting one of the auxiliary control functions,the magnetic permeability of the core in the other orthogonal direction can be changed.The secondary flow flux of the magnetic circuit theorem voltage regulator is gradually reduced,which makes the secondary voltage of the voltage regulator adjustable.The quadrature magnetic field voltage regulator is not only suitable for various voltage regulation occasions,but also can be applied to places where the voltage quality is improved such as reactive power compensation.First of all,this article first introduces the development status,merits and demerits of the voltage regulator transformer at the present stage,and then introduces the development history of the orthogonal magnetic field.The advantages of quadrature magnetic fields for pressure regulation theory and quadrature magnetic field regulators are presented.The structure of the regulator is introduced,the magnetization principle of the regulator is simply analyzed,and the modeling and analysis of the magnetic circuit model and mathematical model of the regulator is completed.Finally,the secondary voltage expression of the quadrature magnetic field voltage regulator is deduced.Secondly,because the above-mentioned regulator design model does not take into account the influence of the saturation of the control side core on the main magnetic circuit,ANSOFT software will be used to analyze and establish the threedimensional finite element model of the regulator,especially focusing on the orthogonal region.An air gap is opened between the control side magnetic circuit and the main magnetic circuit to prevent the control side iron core from leaking magnetic flux,and the orthogonal portions of the control side and the main magnetic circuit are simulated under different sizes to find out the most of the orthogonal portion of the core.Excellent data makes the leakage flux on the control side drop below 5%.Finally,the design of the voltage regulator in this paper is introduced with reference to the design of the power transformer,and a practical example of a smallcapacity voltage regulator is obtained.
