China is situated between the Eurasian seismic belt and the Circum-Pacific seismic belt,therefore earthquake often happened on it.In last ten years,all kinds of earthquakes have occurred frequently,many of which are more than the scale of 7 on the Richter calculations,including Yutian,Lushan,Yushu,and Wenchuan earthquakes.These earthquakes caused large scales of damage to all kinds of bridges,sometimes even led to collapse.Once earthquake happens,the damage of bridges and roads will increase the difficulty of rescue.Unfortunately,Transportation in these areas often rely on a small amount of bridges and roads.With the accessment of bridge earthquake damage,the rescue plan can be carried out faster and more reasonably.In this paper,an empirical statistical accessment model based on historical earthquake damage is set up.The main tasks are as follows:1.The main accessment methods of bridge seismic damage are summarized.For each method,the principles and scopes of application are also listed.Besides,combined with the actual work of bridge seismic damage accessment,an empirical statistical accessment model is identified.2.The statistical method based on historical earthquake damage and its data source,theoretical basis,model selection and regression method are introduced.Furthermore,according to the bridge earthquake damage analysis,parameters necessary for regression are determined.Moreover,the problem of multicollinearity can be solved and a preliminary regression model is established.3.Considering the fact that there may be data lacking in actual work,three different levels of earthquake damage accessment models are established.Furthermore,an earthquake damage accessment model with arbitrary missing parameters is given.4.For all established models,based on probability theory and statistics theory,the reliability analysis of the overall bridge accessment results is carried out.Using source data and bridge damage data of Tangshan earthquake and Lushan earthquake,the regression model can be re-examined.
