Investigation And Study On Yingtan Ancient Garden

Yingtan City has a history of more than a thousand years since the Tang Dynasty.But the Taoist culture of Longhu Mountain has been passed down since the Eastern Han Dynasty.Its cultural deposits is profound.Although the local gardens are only the tip of the iceberg of Chinese ancient gardens,they are valuable to the study of Jiangxi traditional gardens.Through the reference of historical documents,inductive analysis and field investigation and other research methods,starting from the historical and cultural background of Yingtan City,this paper analyzes the types and quantities of gardens under the background of various ancient times in Yingtan City.Based on the analysis of artistic conception and construction techniques,the regional characteristics of Yingtan ancient garden are obtained.The development of the ancient garden in Yingtan city is as follows: 1,The period from Qin to Han Dynasty-budding period,this period of Yingtan area is still in the southern desolation region at that time,the economic and cultural development is backward.It was only when Zhang Daoling,the Taoist ancestor of Longhu Mountain,practiced in Longhu Mountain,that gardens began to be produced,mainly in the form of Tai,wells,holes,and caverns,and laying the foundation for the emergence of temple gardens.3,The period from Three Kingdoms to the Southern and Northern Dynasties-a period of slow development.The temple garden began to produce in this period,the garden planning trace is less.And the function is mainly to satisfy the religious activities.The period of the Sui,Tang and the five dynasties-transition period.In the Tang Dynasty,Guixi County was set up,and its economy developed vigorously,and a large number of immigrants joined in.Then the literati began to participate in the garden construction,but also for the development of Yingtan City garden to provide an opportunity.4.The period of Song dynasty-flourishing period.The political,economic and cultural development of Jiangxi reached its climax in the period of Song Dynasty,in which Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism collided with each other.Especially the spread of New-Confucianism,which had a profound influence on the literati gardens of Yingtan at that time.The skill level of garden construction rose obviously.5.During the mature period of Yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties,the garden construction changed while continuing the style of the Song Dynasty.The change of social fashion gradually changed the main idea of literati garden from "hidden garden" to "entertaining garden",and the skill and style of construction began to be stylized.
