Multi-Parameter Monitor Based On AM335X Embedded Processor

Multi parameter monitor is a device used to vital signs parameters on the human body(such as ECG.heart rate,oxygen saturation,blood pressure,respiratory rate and body temperature)for real-time continuous monitoring,and after analysis and processing to achieve display.It is widely used in hospitals,nursing homes and a few families.With the rapid development of semiconductor,information,communication and embedded technology,and clinical monitoring requirements gradually increase,more and more perfect functions.including Ethernet,WIFI,3G transmission,voice broadcast,especially in the part of the display screen size and display waveform have higher requirements.The multi parameter monitor designed in this paper is based on AM335X processor.It is a high performance ARM processor based on Cortex-A8 kernel,and integrates 3D graphics acceleration engine.It can provide excellent waveform refresh capability.The modular design is used in the control system,the use of large size LCD display,graphical interface,touch keys,shuttle input operation mode,has good man-machine interface.The system has rich peripheral interface,and provides many functions such as network,audio.SD memory card,USB interface,parameter board interface and so on.The operating system uses Linux3.2.0,and the software is a graphic library running on the Linux system.The whole software is ported to boot program uboot.peripheral driver and kernel,file system tools and graphics library miniguiglib.This paper designs and builds the hardware and software platform,realizes the system running,opens the graphic library API for the two development.Can be directly provided to the multi parameter monitor manufacturers as hardware and system platform,manufacturers develop their own interface differentiation part,to achieve rapid product launch market.It has important practical significance to enhance the market competitiveness of medical equipment company.
