Research On Outdoor Shadow Space Planning And Design Of Guangfo Commercial Street District

The geographical location of the Foshan area in Guangzhou is unique and its climate characteristics are obvious.The concrete manifestations are the constant hot climate,high solar radiation intensity,and long duration of high temperature.Therefore,in Foshan,Guangzhou,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the outdoor shadow space planning and design of commercial blocks.First of all,through the investigation of five representative commercial districts in Guangzhou and Foshan,it is found that there are obvious problems with the low utilization of shadow space in the outdoor shadow space.The main reasons are the spatial and temporal dislocation of the shadow space and commercial activities,and commercial interests.Failure to coordinate with open space and targeted considerations in the planning and design process.For this reason,this paper proposes to put forward the design goals and principles of outdoor public shadow space while satisfying the spatio-temporal characteristics of outdoor activities in commercial blocks.At the same time,it proposes corresponding design means or methods according to the outdoor space characteristics of different commercial blocks.Explained that Guangfo Commercial Street should be based on the influence factors of shadow space construction.Under the premise of satisfying the design principles of outdoor shadow space,aiming at improving outdoor shadow space and perfecting outdoor space functions,according to different types of commercial neighborhoods,active and Comprehensively utilize the shadows that can be formed by buildings,plants,and structures,and jointly design and create a beneficial outdoor shadow space.In the planning and design stage,detailed planning and design of shadow spaces of different types of commercial blocks are carried out.The Ecotect software simulation found that in the early part of June and mid July of Guangzhou,the sun was located at the dividing line between north and south of the Guangfo area.In the first half of June and the middle of July,the architectural shadows will move to the south side of the building,while in the other months the shadows will be on the north side of the building.According to the shadow characteristics of the Guangfo area,a combination of square spaces for their respective characteristics of shadows was proposed to maximize the advantages of commercial buildings to create a shadow space and create a more pleasant business environment for people.According to the actual size of space and the type of space function,the actual conditions of commercial blocks and the outdoor space that people use are analyzed,and the shadows formed by buildings,structures,and plants are rationally used for comprehensive design.Selectively set up movable or detachable structures,or set some arborous plants to optimize outdoor space quality and meet people's needs.In the end,we summarized the innovations and deficiencies of the paper and hoped to further strengthen and perfect it in the future.
