With the rapid development of China’s economy,the continued increase in car ownership and the increasingly complex road traffic environment have led to increasingly severe traffic safety problems.The occurrence of road traffic accidents not only seriously threatens people’s life safety and property safety,but also brings many problems to the society.Focusing on the safety management of vehicles and the prevention of traffic accidents,the accuracy and high efficiency of speed assessment are essential in the handling of road traffic accidents.Due to the diversity and complexity of road traffic accidents,it has brought many difficulties to accident identification.The main basis of the traditional algorithm is to extract and process material evidence such as brake marks,on-site scattered objects and video images.However,these physical evidences are susceptible to destruction and loss due to man-made and weather conditions.With the continuous improvement of car crash safety,traditional empirical algorithms have shown limitation,but the car body deformation after the collision is an objective reality,is not easily destroyed and distorted.Therefore,solving the car’s collision speed by measuring the car’s deformation after collision has important practical significance for the identification of road traffic accidents and accident reconstruction.On the basis of summarizing and analyzing the research results of automotive crash deformation,combined with the vehicle accident mechanics and crash deformation measurement theory,the process of deformation energy gradual change of the vehicle’s cash site was studied.A measurement model of deformation amount of the automotive deformation site was developed,The rigid wall finite element model was built using CAD and HyperMesh.The model was solved by LS-DYNA.The HyperView was used to reproduce the three-dimensional animation of the car’s collision deformation process..The accuracy of the model was validated by the comparison of the deceleration of the vehicle’s B-column with time at a certain speed.And through the analysis of the speed,acceleration,compression deformation and energy gradient of the simulation model,the position morphological changes of the car crash are studied.under different speed conditions,the finite element model of the vehicle and rigid wall 100% frontal crash and “buntou” collision simulation,measure the amount of space in the three-dimensional coordinate point deformation process conditions,the proposed effective collision deformation speed between the amounts of the mathematical model.Taking two typical of traffic accidents as examples,based on the PC-CRASH simulation analysis,the effectiveness of the mathematic model of the deformation speed relationship is verified,which provides a reference for road accident analysis and identification calculation.
