Our country in recent years,the rapid development of the tunnel,for tunnel safety has gradually reached a consensus on the most common security incidents in the fire and smoke hazard,flame retardant asphalt smoke more and more attention.As the geographical environment in this area is in seasonally frozen area,and considering environmental protection and energy saving,the technical idea of combining flame retardant asphalt mixture with warm mix asphalt has been preliminarily formed.The application of flame retardant material technology of warm mix asphalt in highway tunnel,is mainly to solve two problems: one is to reduce the production process of asphalt concrete pavement construction in high temperature and smoke,improve the construction environment,reduce the health hazards of high temperature construction construction personnel;the second is to reduce tunnel asphalt concrete pavement in the case of a fire and because of the hazards of asphalt combustion flue gas release in the tunnel staff.According to these two points,this reference to Liaoning petrochemical,Shenzhen Haichuan,Yuanda chemical and many other manufacturers,which has developed many kinds of different components of flame retardant,warm mix agent,relying on a large number of tests for combination,the best dosage,adding technology and structure,according to the oxygen index,smoke density test for the optimum smoke,flame retardant effect,determine the structure of the flame retardant warm mix asphalt mixture in the surface layer of AC-20 type gradation,the upper layer of the optimal structure of SMA-13 type gradation.The relation between the amount of flame retardant and oxygen index was defined.With the increase of the amount of flame retardant,the oxygen index of asphalt increased linearly.The asphalt mixture mixing flame retardant component mixing method,flame retardant admixture for asphalt mixture quality 1.5%,warm mix agent dosage 0.3%,the cooling effect of environmentally friendly flame retardant warm mix asphalt mixture with good performance,the way to meet the requirements of technical specification.This new type of tunnel fire retardant warm mix asphalt technology has good performance and popularization value,for the wide application of asphalt pavement to China’s long and large tunnel areas with harsh climate and has an important guiding significance.
