Warm mix technology can effectively reduce the construction temperature, save energy, reduce environmental pollution, and does not reduce road performance. Flame retardant technology can effectively reduce asphalt pavement combustion and smoke. Therefore, this paper combines warm mix technology with flame retardant technology and prepares for excellent properties of warm mixed flame retardant asphalt mixture, which is studied on road performance. The technology provides a theoretical basis for the application of warm mixed antiflaming asphalt mixture in tunnels.This paper starts from the general properties and flame retardant properties of asphalt to analyze three index and oxygen index variation of different Sasobit,3G content of base asphalt (SBS modified asphalt matrix), base flame retardant asphalt (SBS modified flame retardant asphalt). The results show that the adding of flame retardants decreases the penetration, ductility of asphalt and improves the softening point of asphalt, significantly increases the oxygen index of asphalt; With the Sasobit content increasing, penetration and ductility are declined, softening point is increased; with the increase of 3G content, penetration is increased, the ductility decreases, softening is increased first and then decreased. For the matrix warm mix asphalt, along with Sasobit,3G addition increasing, oxygen index shows a downward trend; For the modification of warm mix asphalt, along with the Sasobit content increasing, oxygen index is decreased; along with the 3G content increasing, oxygen index is increased.The minus of two kinds of warm mixed flame retardant asphalt softening point is not exceed the standard by the isolating test. Asphalt viscosities of samples that mix with two kinds of warm agent and flame retardant agent are tested. The Sasobit reduces the viscosity of asphalt, the effect of 3G on the viscosity of asphalt is very small. The Marshall molding method, using porosity as the leading factor, determine the construction temperature based on recommended dosage of 3G, Sasobit and flame retardant, results show that Sasobit,3G warm mixed flame retardant asphalt mixture based on the matrix asphalt, modified asphalt are decreased by25℃,20℃; 20℃, 15℃.Application of cone calorimeter for the assessment of the fire resistance of 6 kinds of asphalt mixture shows that both single doped flame retardant and warm mix agent or mixed are good at decreasing the release of heat and smoke. Road performance test results show that the admixtures had little influence on the water stability of mixture, the adding of flame retardants and warm mix agent could increase the high temperature performance of mixture and reduce the low temperature performance.
