The Study On Public Space Design Of The Outpatient Department Of Comprehensive Hospital Based On Environmental-Behavior

The Outpatient Department is an important part of the comprehensive hospitals.In recent years,the number of newly-built domestic hospitals is huge.However,the research content of public space in the Outpatient Department of comprehensive hospitals is still scarce,and after the completion of the comprehensive hospitals,the feedback of the public space usage in the Outpatient Department is insufficient.After the completion of the Outpatient Department and comes into use,the behavior of the patients deviated from the design intention are the starting point of the study in this research.The research selected the subjects that the main crowd in the public space of the Outpatient Department of Beijing comprehensive hospitals--the patients and their families,to observe the situation its use of space and take an interview and questionnaire survey about the public space to meet the needs of the patient.Based on the theoretical framework of Environment-Behavior Studies,analyzing the status quo of domestic comprehensive hospitals.On this basis,based on the Environment-Behavior Studies,putting forward some suggestions for the public space design of the comprehensive Outpatient Department.The study aims to supplement the behavior observation records and psychological needs survey data of public space clinics in Outpatient Departments of Beijing hospitals,and to provide reference materials for follow-up public space design research of general hospital Outpatient Departments.This study proposes design suggestions based on the theory of Environmental-Behavior and provides reference for designing Outpatient Departments of comprehensive hospitals to fit the behavioral habits of patients and guide patients' behavior better.The main content of this study is divided into four parts.The first part gives an overview of the phenomenon of "adapted use" in the public space of the hospital Outpatient Department,to analyze the necessity of the space design of hospital Outpatient Department from the perspective of Environment-Behavior Studies.The second part introduces Environment-Behavior Studies into the public space design research of hospital Outpatient Department,to analyze the requirements of public space design of hospital Outpatient Department based on Environment-Behavior Studies.The third part classifies the current situation of public space in the Outpatient Department of Beijing comprehensive hospitals,and use Environment-Behavior Studies to analyze the present situation.The fourth part puts forward the public space design proposal of the Outpatient Department based on the Environment-Behavior Studies,and take an example of the public space in the Outpatient Department of Beijing comprehensive hospitals to propose design optimization scheme.Summarize the experience,to provide certain reference for future hospital building design.
