| With the rapid development of traffic,a large number of asphalt pavements are faced with the situation of overhaul or reconstruction.RAP plays a vital role on protecting the environment,save stone and petroleum resources.Because of low energy consumption and high utilization rate of RAP,cold recycling is a kind of environmentally friendly pavement technology.At present,the emulsified asphalt cold recycling mixture is suitable for the underlayer,base courses and subbase courses of the high grade pavement.Cement can improve the strength of cold recycled mixture,but too high cement content will cause low temperature performance and fatigue performance of asphalt mixture.By adding proper proportion of water-borne acrylic to asphalt to keep the other roads performance and improve the low temperature and fatigue performance with the reduction of cement content.In this paper,the emulsified asphalt and water-borne acrylic emulsion is mixed by mechanical agitation.The effect of water acrylic emulsion content and oil-water ratio of emulasified asphalt on performance of waterborne acrylic modified emulasified asphalt were studied through tensile test and curing film formation test.The water-oil rate of emusified asphalt is 65:35.Based on water-borne acrylic modified emulsified asphalt cold regenerated mixture characteristics,according to geotextitle experiment to identify the best water content,through the Marshall strength,residual stability and low temperature bending creep test to do the mixture ratio design of AC-20 graded of water-borne acrylic modified emulsified asphalt cold Regenerated mixture.Compared the SBS modified emulsified asphalt cold Regenerated mixture on volume characteristics,road performance,and fatigue performance to evaluate the property of water-borne acrylic modified emulsified asphalt cold regenerative mixture.Based on the poor fatigue performance of water-borne acrylic modified emulsified asphalt cold regenerated mixture,a method of improving fatigue performance is raised.The result shows that the adding water-borne acrylic to modified asphalt can ensure the road performance and improve the low temperature and fatigue performance with the reduction of cement content. |
