When the building was struck by lightning,over-voltage is drained through the lightning arrester to the earth.Because of the lightning stroke,the electromagnetic pulse will be produced,and the overvoltage and overcurrent will be produced.When the voltage exceeds the voltage value of the electrical equipment,the equipment is broken through,causing an electrical accident.With the rapid development of the power electronics industry.The Zinc Oxide lightning arrester is an electric device used to protect the transient overvoltage and discharge current,and provides security for various high and low voltage electrical equipment and electronic components.This paper mainly studies the factory power optimization of high and low side voltage protection system,through the theoretical calculation to calculate the effects of over voltage of electrical equipment,and take the installation of Zinc Oxide arrester to protect electrical and electronic equipment,has a certain theoretical significance,has guiding significance to the actual project.By analyzing the coordination of the arrester,according to the voltage and current characteristics of the arrester and the characteristics of the protected equipment,we can ensure the safe and reliable operation of the system through multi-level protection.The pre release most of current,will absorb most of the energy loss or discharge,protection level arrester,achieve the purpose of multistage pressure limit.The optimum protection distance of the lightning arresters at all levels is found by the simulation calculation and the experiment.According to the theoretical analysis and simulation experiment,the suitable lightning arrester is chosen to match.Because the lightning arrester plays an important role in ensuring the normal and safe operation of the high and low voltage power grid,it is necessary to monitor the operating state of the lightning arrester.Through the comparison of various monitoring methods,choose appropriate monitoring method,improve the working efficiency,reduce working strength,ensure the arrester intact,so as to ensure the continuity of production,through the installation of lightning arrester online monitoring device,improve the lightning arrester monitoring the effect and protection of high and low voltage power network stability.
