Centrifugal pump is a kind of common mechanical equipment,which has the advantages of compact structure,small area and low cost of manufacturing.Taking a vertical centrifugal pump as the research object,the three-dimensional flow field in the centrifugal pump is analyzed by numerical simulation method,especially on the clearance of wear-ring.First,UG software is applied to establish the three-dimensional model,and the grid is divided into impeller and volute by importing ICEM.The operation and simulation analysis are carried out in fluent.Finally,the post-processing software CFD-post is used to do the drawing and data sorting.The finite volume method is used to discretize the model.Based on the two equation three dimensional turbulence model,the SIMPLE pressure correction coefficient method is adopted,and MRF multiple reference coordinate systems are applied to set the shaft and speed of the impeller.By changing the size of the wear-ring,the change of the clearance of the wear-ring,the change of the lift,efficiency and leakage of the centrifugal pump are obtained.Through the analysis of pressure distribution and flow line diagram in the flow field under the clearance of different wear-ring,it is determined that the performance is best when the clearance of the wear-ring is 0.3mm.The radial force and axial force of the rotor part are analyzed under different clearance of the wear-ring.It is concluded that the axial force increases and the radial force remains unchanged with the increase of the clearance of the wear-ring.Under the conditions of 20m~3/h、40m~3/h、60m~3/h、80m~3/hand 100m~3/h,the internal pressure and flow field of the centrifugal pump were analyzed,and the characteristic curves of the lift and efficiency under different flow rates were obtained.The noise distribution of the centrifugal pump impeller and the volute is analyzed,and the area with larger noise value is found in the working process.With the increase of the flow,the noise at impeller inlet decreases first and then increases.
